Several local agencies have input on establishing open burning regulations in the Rapid Valley Volunteer Fire Department response district. Some of those agencies include the City of Rapid City, Pennington County, and the South Dakota Wildland Fire Suppression Division. Click on the links below to access information about open burning. The Rapid Valley Volunteer Fire Department does not issue burn permits or regulate open burning, however we will respond to any open burning that may cause damage or harm to people or property. |
