The Rapid Valley Training Division strives to meet and maintain the training standards set forth for fire, medical, and rescue responses. We offer training in these areas to better assist our local, as well as, surrounding communities. We have the opportunity to train with our live fire training trailers, a training tower at Western Dakota Technical Institute, and classrooms across Pennington County. We train with other surrounding departments to improve our inter-departmental working relationships. We also make sure that all of the equipment within the department is addressed by all members to ensure a thorough understanding before the incident happens. As always, the training provided by the Rapid Valley Fire Department is open to anybody that is a member of a local, state, or federal emergency response agency. |
